
Dr. Huneycutt is a native of Central Florida, attending the University of Central Florida (UCF) to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology & Molecular Biology in 2008. The following year Dr. Huneycutt worked with Florida Hospital’s Cancer Institute in the field of Gynecologic Oncology, completing research and assisting in their fellowship training program while electing for post-graduate studies at UCF. Dr. Huneycutt then moved to Suwanee, Georgia where she attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus. There she completed an extra year of training in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine skills and teaching, graduating with her medical degree (DO) in 2014. Moving back to Orlando, FL to be close to family, Dr. Huneycutt completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital’s East Orlando through 2017. Dr. Huneycutt continues practicing Family Medicine in Central Florida and now offers personalized care for children and adults in her own practice in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Certifications include Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Licensures include the Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, State of Florida Osteopathic Medicine and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
Dr. Huneycutt continues her education through involvement in multiple medical organizations, including the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO).
Dr. Huneycutt enjoys giving back to her community through medical volunteering and especially enjoys proving medical care to the marathon participants at Walt Disney World.
